Excuse me for my bad english I'll try to explain the better I can.Īfter I downloaded the trial of X3 I pointed the pictures folder to see the photos and experiment. I already read the article but don't answer my question. Thanks I'll write to the Alien Skin support, and maybe I'll report here their answer if someone is interested. It is a few years old but it does provide some good instruction and says it will work with versions of Exposure from X onwards, including of course EX3.5 Perhaps someone here knows?Īlso, not sure if this article in the support section at AS will help but it deals with moving from LR to Exposure. What I'm not sure is where the keyword sets are stored. Once inside EX3 you can then make changes to keywords and make sets of keywords as well. So if I'm reading the explanation correctly once you have "Saved Metadata to File" in LR EX3 will automatically read the metadata, including your keywords. Exposure saves edits in a sidecar file in the Alien Skin folder that is in the same folder as your image. So it looks like you would have to start the process in LR as above. Either way, Exposure can read keywords from there." For other files, the metadata will be written into the original file. For RAW files, the metadata will be written into a sidecar file in the same folder as the original file. In Lightroom, under the Metadata menu, you'll see 'Save Metadata to File. So the trick is to get the keywords somewhere that Exposure can read them. Exposure does not extract keywords from the LR catalog. "The tricky thing is that LR usually stores keywords in its catalog. not sure if this answer I received helps or not but here goes: This resembles a question I had on the FB group last fall.
